THE HISTORY OF MARFOLE/ASAMANGAMA CLAN
After the old man Anlunli ARMAH TUMA MUSHIE and his kingdom had started their journey from Egypt to Sudan, from Sudan to Mali, from Mali to Burkina Faso, then from Burkina Faso to Teachman in Ghana in 1192. They later on migrated from Techiman to Benso (Tarkwa Benso) . Their journey from Benso to Kwawu in the Western North Region ( Awonwin District) had a convenient place for their first settlement which they had to settle one of their Stool and also appointed one of his men to take care of it. God told them, because of the spirit he has given them, unless their eyes see the sea surrounded by two rivers before their strength and power become complete for their generations to come. So they moved again until the present place Ekebaku and moved to Bentilibo. Anunli Tuma Mushie and his soldiers, went a little further from Bentilibo to explore the forest ahead of them, that is where they saw many trees called TOANEBO. They named the place Toanebo and established one of their stool there in 1192. TOANEBO is called the present time ATOABO
Freedom has come and Atuabo is going to have a new Chieftancy
